They don't hold up to their end of the deal

I have the Platinum protection plan from this company in my contract I have the key remote replacement it states that they will pay up to $800 a year for key replacement I lost the key to my car the only place I can get it from is the Porsche dealership which charges $640.23 after getting an approval the dealer told me that NSD was only willing to pay $384.37 after days of speaking with the representative from NSD I finally got them to agree on $418 which does not cover the full replacement cost. What they told me is that they will only pay reasonable repair costs but as We Know they're going to pick the lowest and it always varies from auto manufacturers to auto manufacturers my thoughts are if you cannot afford to warranty a car then why offer!!! Nowhere in my key remote replacement contract does it say anything about how much they will pay for programming or hourly rates it only states that I'm eligible for up to $800 a year!

User's recommendation: Read your contract in depth before calling them on a claim and keep in mind they may still deny you if you can get out of this contract and get your money back that is what I would recommend

On phone with dealership for a simple tire claim for over an hour & hung up on 3 times

Wow! This company is terrible, I bought my 21 Acura TLX Type S from Valley Stream Acura in Lynbrook New York but I'm from Jersey, so at the time of purchase I bought the wheel & tire package which is under NSD, so now I'm at the Acura dealership today here in Jersey & they find two nails in my tire so now I need a whole new tire, so my service guy calls the number & they asking him all this info about the tire which made the process very cumbersome but if that's their process that's fine that wasn't the problem but he kept getting hung up on over & over again & each rep he got could not see the previous notes from the last rep, & it wound up taking roughly an hour in a half to resolve the claim.

It is the worse Warranty experience I've ever had & to be honest it's not worth having but just pay out of pocket. Honestly a very terrible company & customer service

Won't honor basic coverage expectation

When I purchased their Platinum Protection Plan policy I was told that they would replace my key fobs for any reason (lost, stolen, broken, quit working, whatever). After 4 of the 5 years of coverage elapsed one of my fobs quit working.

Replacing the battery didn't fix it. LED indicator light no longer illuminates. I called to file a claim and it was denied because they only cover for lost or stolen keys.

In other words, lie and tell them you lost it and they'll get you a new one. If you tell them you still have it but it is absolutely as useless as if it was lost they won't help you at all.

Absolutely infuriating.

Seeing all the other negative reviews I'm not surprised, but I didn't even know the name of the company when I bought the coverage from the dealership.

They say they no longer carry their products for this exact reason. No one should.

I completed a tow service at 1am for nsd only to get to the drop-off location and find a locked gate. I was asked to store the vehicle and that the cx was responsible for the storage and return tow fee.

10 days later I'm getting yelled at by "markelle" or Patricia Jasmin telling me that I should have called to find out what to do. Long story short, after 25 different recorded phone calls between 3 area reps and 3 different csr's we made an agreement to pay me out in full for all completed services and cut ties. The agreed to payment was for $4k. After many an argument and incorrect invoicing errors on their part, we finally came to terms.

Almost 2 months later they have disputed the transaction as saying goods or services were not completed and tried to have it debited from my account. Lmao. Patricia is by far the most disrespectful and more importantly ignorant individual I've ever had the distaste of working with in my 15 years in service. Derrick from California area is one of the best however.

I've worked with every roadside club there is and there are always issues. But we've never encountered the level and amount of utter disrespect and disloyalty we did with Nsd's Patricia markelle Jasmin. For someone who works at home and has obviously zero experience in the industry let alone real world, one would hope that someone like that would be gone in a hurry. Towing services at this point need to come together and fight these clubs trying to rip us all off and turn us into competition for literally nothing.

I won't and can't speak to nsd specifically as I didn't have a great or horrible experience with the company. But Patricia markelle Jasmin will at some point recieve what she's dishing out whether she stays in her apartment talking on the phone or not.

She's a disgusting individual and I feel sorry for anyone working with or related to her at this point. I wouldn't want her on my team if I was in a dogfight or any other circumstances.

They don’t pay the amount they agree on to pay you when they dispatch jobs to you the will rip you off your money and the supervisor or manager in Georgia is so rude and disrespectful and is disgusting to work with such woman

They dont like to pay tow providers so they reject their work. They charge customers high rate and dont want to pay tow providers so dont used them.. they crooks.. Go and google and get ur own tow so u will not be left by the road side for hours waiting for NDS they useless agency

Towing service refused to pickup my vehicle

Their customer service was very professional however, my issue went unresolved. The service driver lied about coming to the location where my vehicle was and he got paid for it.

User's recommendation: Be very careful which service drivers NSD sends to your location. A driver can decide for any reason to refuse to come to your location and won't be held accountable. In addition, they will still get paid for being dispatched.

13 days and still no reimbursement check in the mail. Sent to wrong address.

I'm not sure if I trust this Nation Safe Driver's warranty coverage company. I read all of their reviews and I fear I will never get reimbursement. I am afraid they are lying to me when they say your check is in the mail. They say that there is no way for them to prove to me a check was sent even to the wrong address which is my tire shop.

I ask them why not and they hang up on me.

This is my parents warranty and they are over 80 years old so I had to pay for the tires for them to relieve their anxiety and stress. These are not good for the elderly.

Imagine staffing a company with malcontented rejects from some trashy reality show and you will have a good approximation of what customer service is like at Nation Safe Drivers.

As others have noted, this so-called company is filled with dishonest and lazy incompetents. I have an elderly parent on my policy through Mercury Insurance, a company that has made the mistake of outsourcing to these clowns.

When I called for a tow for my fathers truck, I was told that I was not in the system. I read the policy number repeatedly from my Mercury Insurance card and received the same answer. I was then put on hold and told a supervisor could help figure things out. Ten minutes later, Im told no supervisor is available, and I should call my insurance company the next day.

Whatever, I go pick up my father, drive him home, and call Mercury the following day. Yes, you are covered. Yes, your fathers truck is covered. Im connected with another clown from the Nation Safe Drivers clown show and told that a tow truck cannot be sent until they have confirmation from the service station that the vehicle will be accepted.

I mention Ill work out a destination with the tow truck driver. Nope and the customer service rep gets mouthy. I ask for a supervisor. Ms.

Hates Her Life yells, Hold, please and proceeds to hang up on me after 5 minutes of waiting. I call Mercury and the rep tries to get a hold of a supervisor at the Nation Safe Drivers clown show. No luck. For 30 minutes were both placed on hold and intermittently transferred to another customer service rep but never a supervisor.

In other words, they refuse to transfer us to a supervisor. Its call center hot potato clown style. The last clown, particularly mouthy, says they will send a tow truck but cannot tell us when it will arrive. I ask for a time frame.

One hour? Two? She says cannot commit to a time and, You cannot tell me, sir, that its possible to schedule a tow in less than two hours! I mention I can becauseI have before.

Many times. She proceeds to get mouthy again not just with me but also with the Mercury Insurance rep. I tell her to schedule the tow, and it will be well-documented if her company can provide the service they are contractually paid to perform in a timely manner. She assures us she will call back with a timeframe.

She never does. After an hour of waiting and no call, I call a local tow truck company and theyre there in less than 10 minutes. Nation Safe Drivers is utterly worthless. I highly recommend not doing any form of business with them.

I wouldnt even sell them a paperclip. And if your insurance provider (e.g., Mercury Insurance), uses them, change your insurance provider or cancel your roadside assistance coverage and find a competent alternative.
